Residence With The Green View

Chien Hung Lu's "Residence With The Green View" is a sustainable and refreshing home design project that embraces ecological design methods to create a light industrial-style residence. The project, completed in Taipei, Taiwan, in July 2020, focuses on using energy-saving and eco-friendly building materials to reduce environmental impact and achieve sustainability.

The 148.5 square meter residence stands out for its simplicity, comfort, and eco-friendly features, including the use of the latest R32 air conditioner and heat-recovery ventilation to reduce carbon emissions and improve air quality. The redesign of the old kitchen and installation of a semi-open kitchen with an island counter have enhanced air circulation and natural light, contributing to a better quality of indoor air.

Chien Hung Lu's design overcame various challenges, including redecorating a 40-year-old home with poor ventilation and inadequate daylight. The project's unique approach to sustainability and eco-friendliness has earned it the prestigious Iron A' Design Award in 2021, recognizing its practical and innovative contributions to the industry.
