The new identity, centered around the letter A, symbolizes stability and gentleness while perfectly matching technology and aesthetics, offering new possibilities and experiences for clients. The design reshapes Anlan's identity, ensuring recognizability in various scenarios and conveying the concept of modern femininity through carefully rounded typeface corners and a bold purple color as the main branding color.
The new identity, a winner of the prestigious A' Design Award, aims to change the inherent perception of women's beauty brands and evoke a more independent feeling. It features a flower pattern derived from the letter A, adding a new gesture to interpret the meaning of beauty. The coordinated images have been applied to all physical stationery and package systems, making the design easier to apply and associate with the products offered.
Haiwen YANG, the designer behind the new identity, faced the challenge of finding the right balance between gentleness and strength, ultimately creating a design that conveys the message of enjoying beauty devices to renew oneself and exude confident charm. The project, which began in Shenzhen, China in April 2021, was delivered to the client in January 2022. The new identity has been well-received for its simplicity, clarity, and straightforwardness, aligning with Anlan's vision for modern beauty.
