Wanmei Space Design Studio presents a sustainable and comfortable residential space, "Bathing in Coziness," completed in 2019 in Taichung, Taiwan, emphasizing natural materials and a "less is more" design concept.
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Wanmei Space Design Studio has unveiled its latest residential project, "Bathing in Coziness," which redefines the design process by utilizing existing objects to create a comfortable and carefree home environment. The project, spanning 185 square meters, features classical furniture with abundant contours as the main visual theme, complemented by the mutual stacking of simple and modern frames to create primary and secondary layers.
The sustainable design approach incorporates natural materials and a "less is more" concept, minimizing unnecessary design, manufacturing, and waste. The project's eco-friendly focus includes the use of breathable house concepts, reduced solid wall partitions, and the selection of natural solid wood, veneer, and marble to preserve original material aesthetics.
Upon entering the space, visitors are greeted by an amber-colored foyer cabinet and dark brown sofa chair, accentuated by pure white marble and natural light from French windows, creating a refreshing and bright indoor spatial ambience. The project was awarded Bronze in the A' Design Award for Interior Space, Retail, and Exhibition Design in 2021, recognizing its outstanding and creatively ingenious design.
