Introducing Noiseless, a hand-thrown porcelain vase designed by Yasuhiro Kuze in Berlin in February 2018. This minimalist vase is inspired by the interplay of light and shadow, offering a unique aesthetic and functional experience.
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Yasuhiro Kuze's Noiseless is a hand-thrown, heavy-weight porcelain vase designed to accommodate long or large plants, featuring a minimal design language inspired by sunlight and the shadows it casts. The vase's surface boasts a pure naked porcelain finish with a delicate baby skin texture, elevating its visual and tactile appeal.
Measuring between W100mm D100mm H240mm and W60mm D60mm H110mm, Noiseless embodies simplicity, aesthetics, and functionality. The interplay of light and shadows softens its appearance, making it suitable for any setting, while also allowing for engaging flower arrangements.
The project began in February 2018 in Berlin, where Kuze embarked on a study of simple, beautiful shapes to explore the balance between light and shade. The aim was to pursue essential beauty without being distracted by decoration or color, resulting in a unique form that stands out for its purity and elegance.
Yasuhiro Kuze's Noiseless has been recognized with the Bronze A' Design Award in the Fine Arts and Art Installation Design category in 2022. This prestigious accolade celebrates the design's outstanding creativity and ingenious approach, acknowledging its contribution to quality of life improvements through art, science, and technology.
