Pouya Mirhosseini introduces Convey, a revolutionary anti-clockwise movement clock design, challenging traditional time-telling methods with innovative features, materials, and technology.
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Pouya Mirhosseini presents Convey, a groundbreaking clock design inspired by the concept of time travel and the desire to break the traditional clockwise movement of clock hands. Convey features an anti-clockwise movement and a unique minimalistic design, setting it apart from conventional clocks.
Convey's standout features include a single fixed needle for time display, a quarter-circle face, and connectivity to smartphones for time adjustment and battery level monitoring. The clock is crafted using iron rod, Plexiglas, and ABS materials, with dimensions of 121mm in width, 63mm in depth, and 250mm in height.
The project, initiated in March 2019 at Tabriz Islamic Art University, culminated in the completion of the design in June 2020 after extensive research, development, and refinement. Convey represents a fusion of art, technology, and functionality, aiming to revive the relevance of clocks in modern homes.
