Shreya Gulati's Houndstooth Conceptualizes and Executes Visuals for Leading Mobile Apps Event

Shreya Gulati's Houndstooth conceptualized, designed, and executed the visual appearance and digital presence for MAU Vegas 2019, the worldâs leading mobile apps event. The collaterals, inspired by Dan Flavin, used bold grotesk typography and neon colors to represent the dynamic mobile tech industry. The event, held at MGM Grand, Las Vegas in May 2019, attracted major brands like Spotify, Tinder, Lyft, Bumble, and MailChimp.
The designs, realized using Adobe Illustrator and Sketch, were implemented across various formats such as signage, brochures, and presentation screens, creating a fully immersive experience for the audience. The biggest challenge was to create a scalable design guide for printing on diverse materials and digital screens, including mobile and backlit screens.
Recognized with an Iron A' Design Award in 2020, the visuals for MAU Vegas 2019 were lauded for their tangibility and uniqueness, meeting professional and industrial requirements while contributing to a better world.
