Traditional Chinese Architecture Meets Modern Elegance

C&D Inc. (Wuxi Subsidiary) proudly presents Jin Yue Wan, a sales center that harmoniously blends traditional Chinese architectural elements with modern design concepts. Located in Wuxi, China, the project draws inspiration from the renowned Jichang Garden, integrating traditional garden creation techniques into its architecture to create an elegant oriental atmosphere.

The sales center features an immersive demonstration area with six garden landscapes, showcasing the three-millennia-old Jiangnan garden creation wisdom. By incorporating local cultural characteristics and traditional techniques, Jin Yue Wan offers a contemporary destination with unique garden landscapes, reflecting the essence of Chinese academy culture.

New techniques and optimization of scales have been employed to create a simple and light appearance for the buildings, while the landscape pavilion adopts Chinese classical mortise and tenon joint structures, crafted by seasoned artisans without using a single nail in the construction process.

Cui Xiaobing, Design Director at C&D Inc. (Wuxi Subsidiary), commented, "Jin Yue Wan takes design cues from traditional courtyard buildings in Wuxi, seamlessly blending traditional fabric with new elements to upgrade the courtyard scenes and create a poetic environment."

The project, which was designed between 2020 and 2023, has overcome the challenge of preserving traditional Chinese architectural charm while innovating through modern approaches to create natural, modern, and dynamic Chinese-style buildings.
