Inspiring Interactive Candlestick Design

Junqiang Lyu's "Inspiring" candlestick design introduces a new archetype of candle holders that allows users to interact with and arrange its state, inspiring creativity and changing the relationship with candles. The design process led to insights that made the candle holder not only suitable for indoor use but also portable for outdoor activities, such as camping.

Compared to traditional static candlesticks, the "Inspiring" design allows users to arrange the single candle holder on the U-shaped iron frame with magnets, creating a dynamic and poetic picture. The candle holder can be securely placed on the frame and can also be stored in the base when not in use, protecting the candle from volatilization or staining. Additionally, the design is lightweight and can be disassembled into compact pieces for easy portability.

Utilizing small magnets, iron sheet bending, and aluminum die-casting, the design achieves stability, flexibility, and portability while being environmentally friendly and cost-effective. The dimensions of the design are 100mm in width, 100mm in depth, and 350mm in height.
