Wan Xiang Sheng: Embodying the Artistic Conception of Chinese Landscapes

Huang Feng's latest creation, Wan Xiang Sheng, draws inspiration from China's unique Zen tea culture, specifically the renowned Wuyishan rock tea. The packaging, resembling Wuyi Mountain, encourages a meditative perspective, reflecting the ever-changing nature of the tea's taste. The font design mimics the tranquility of tea ripples, while the packaging material and production techniques further elevate the design.

Constructed from rock grain special paper, the hardcover gift box features embossing, debossing, and hot stamping processes, showcasing the shape and texture of the tea mountain. Measuring 285mm in width, 105mm in depth, and 105mm in height, the design opens like a book, revealing 2 small packages containing a total of 4 packets of tea.

Initiated in October 2020, Wan Xiang Sheng was completed on November 20, 2020, and became available on December 15, 2020. Huang Feng's dedication to capturing the essence of Zen tea culture and the challenges overcome in expressing it through packaging have earned him numerous accolades, including the prestigious Golden A' Design Award in 2023.
