Step Inside: Redefining Workspace Experience

Chiu Chi Ming Danny introduces "Step Inside," a revolutionary design lounge concept that reimagines the traditional office space, creating an engaging environment for both clients and employees. The project, completed in October 2019, is located in the commercial district of Kowloon Bay, Hong Kong, spanning approximately 350 sqm.

The design lounge transcends the conventional office setting, offering a versatile and dynamic space that fosters creativity and comfort. By integrating a kitchen cabinet, bar area, and state-of-the-art audio and smart systems, the lounge provides a welcoming and capacious ambiance, setting the stage for memorable client experiences.

The living zone serves as a multi-purpose area for meetings, events, and private dining, embodying the motto "Enjoy Your Design Life." The incorporation of walnut and dark palettes, complemented by ambient lighting, creates a cozy and adaptable workspace, while the white marble bar table and imported kitchen cabinet add a touch of sophistication.

One of the standout features is the conference room with glazed sliding doors, which can transform into a restaurant or expand to accommodate larger gatherings, enhancing the overall spaciousness of the lounge. Additionally, the firm boasts a wine and cigar room, further elevating the experience for both clients and employees.

Danny Chiu, the visionary behind the project, sought to create a stimulating and friendly environment, aligning with his philosophy of "Enjoy Your Design Life." The design lounge not only reflects a customer-centric approach but also embodies the vision and ethos of the design director, fostering a welcoming atmosphere for employees.

Chiu Chi Ming Danny's "Step Inside" has been recognized with the prestigious Iron A' Design Award in 2023, underscoring its innovative and practical approach to redefining workspace design. The project marks a significant milestone in the evolution of office spaces, setting a new standard for engaging and functional work environments.
