Meta Cell: A Futuristic Pool Table

Abbas Sufinejad introduces Meta Cell, a pool table inspired by the mysterious signs of aliens on our planet. The concept revolves around the idea of aliens changing their shapes to hide from humans, encouraging users to think and reason about the world around them. The futuristic form of the legs not only adds to the aesthetics but also creates an emotional connection between users and the concept.

The Meta Cell pool table is designed to seamlessly fit into any environment with its soft silhouettes. Crafted with fiber-reinforced plastic and a glazed finish, it offers higher stability, easy cleaning, and lasting beauty. The manufacturing process involves CNC milling and 3D printing, using FRP (Fiber-reinforced plastic) and PU (polyurethane) for color coating.

Measuring 157(W)*281.5(L)*85(H) cm and weighing 480 kg, with a loadable weight of 1100 kg, the Meta Cell pool table is a unique and futuristic addition to any space. The project was designed in Tehran in 2022, with extensive research and sketches to simplify the complicated forms while maintaining its futuristic style.
