Low Profile Glamourous

Te-Yu Liu Hui-Ching Chang presents a 250 square meter residential space in Taipei, Taiwan, completed in June 2020. The design aims to create a safe and cozy home space, incorporating a modern style while maintaining a low profile in luxury. The project was awarded Bronze in A' Design Award in 2021, recognizing its outstanding and creatively ingenious design that authenticates experience and resourcefulness.

The design features a collision of marble walls and wooden floors, woven carpets, and a warm wooden atmosphere, creating a magnificent yet modern living space. The living room, designed to be low-key yet bright, utilizes light gray walls and dark floors to create color contrast, enhancing the sense of openness and relaxation.

One of the unique aspects of the design is the careful selection of furniture, including imported leather sofas, matte floor tiles, and a chandelier from the NEMO crown series, showcasing the elegance of classic headlights using modern materials. The project also overcame challenges in combining leather, marble, and woven carpet to create a personalized feeling while ensuring practicality and comfort.
