Persian Peacock Ring by Hamed Arab Choobdar

Hamed Arab Choobdar's Persian Peacock Ring has been awarded the prestigious Golden A' Design Award for Jewelry, Eyewear, and Watch Design in 2020. Inspired by the symbolism of the peacock in Persian mythology, the ring embodies paradise, regality, nobility, and beauty.

The Persian Peacock Ring stands out with its organic and dynamic forms, combining different elements and shapes with various metal colors and gemstones. The design process involved the use of different software packages for 3D modeling, followed by 3D printing in wax and direct casting in three parts. The final touch included the setting of gemstones using the Micro-setting technique, with the top of the head and eyes plated in yellow gold.

Measuring approximately 42mm in width and length from the top view, the ring weighs about 35 grams in sterling silver. The project commenced in April 2019 and was completed in May 2019, showcasing the meticulous craftsmanship and attention to detail.

Hamed Arab Choobdar, a jewelry designer and maker based in Birmingham, Great Britain, specializes in creating organic and precise forms of jewelry. With extensive professional CAD design experience and a deep understanding of jewelry modeling, Hamed's work reflects his prodigy and wisdom, as recognized by the Golden A' Design Award.
