Everbon Jian Shan Mansion: Shared Lobby Designed by Jay Lee

MOD DESIGN proudly presents the Everbon Jian Shan Mansion, a shared lobby concept designed by Jay Lee. Inspired by the natural beauty of Mount Emei, this innovative space seamlessly integrates contemporary design techniques with the tranquility of the surrounding landscape. Completed in May 2020, this project is a testament to the harmonious coexistence of modernity and nature.

Spanning 670 square meters, the shared lobby is a flexible space with rich layers and stereostructures, offering areas for various functions such as the Reception Area, Lobby Bar, Leisure Area, and Hot Spring Sales Area. The design reflects the diverse living scenes found in nature, achieved through contemporary techniques that exude a rustic and ethereal ambiance.

The space is characterized by its quiet and elegant style, primarily achieved through the use of raw wood color and marble. The lighting, designed in the form of Masayuki Tsubota, creates a visually dynamic effect, resembling small water drops falling into a still lake. The meticulous attention to detail is evident in the hand-crafted potteries, flowers, wooden seats, and other ornaments, which contribute to the space's carefree artistic conception.

Inspired by nature, the shared lobby adopts the transition meaning of Gray Space to seamlessly connect the indoors and outdoors, creating an abundant layer of space beyond coherence. The space is adorned with art paintings of landscapes, hand-crafted bamboo-weaving ornaments, and unique lightings based on fishing nets, all of which serve as peculiar embellishments in the form of art, inundating the space with a yearning for nature and humanity.

Located in Mount Emei, Sichuan, Everbon Jian Shan Mansion was awarded the Bronze A' Design Award in 2021 for its outstanding and creatively ingenious design. This prestigious accolade recognizes the space's ability to authentically capture the experience and resourcefulness of its surroundings, contributing to quality of life improvements and making the world a better place.
