Introducing Aery, a compact UVC air disinfection system designed to enhance cleanliness and hygiene in shared spaces, developed by Duane Lye Dun Wei in Singapore in March 2021.

Dual-Stage UVC Disinfection System
Duane Lye Dun Wei's Aery stands out with its dual-stage disinfection approach. The system repurposes waste heat from UVC light-emitting diodes to accelerate pathogen kill rates, while maximizing disinfection efficacy in a compact module.
The Aery system utilizes a unique air channel with bends to increase UVC exposure duration, enhancing the deactivation of pathogens before releasing the treated air back into the environment.
The project, which began in February 2021, addresses the increased demand for effective air disinfection solutions during the global pandemic, leveraging UVC LED technology and innovative thermal management techniques.
