googoods introduces the new visual identity for Kong-Ke Museum, a unique exhibition venue and work station in Taichung, Taiwan, blending art and functionality.
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
googoods, a design team based in Taichung, has revealed the innovative visual identity for Kong-Ke Museum, a groundbreaking exhibition venue and work station. The logo of Kong-Ke Museum reflects the unfinished form of characters with short strokes, symbolizing the incompleteness and transition experienced at a construction site. This concept invites public participation to complete the museum's overall image, creating an engaging and interactive experience.
The design utilizes materials commonly found at construction sites, such as formwork, scrap wood, circular saw blades, and plastic water pipes, to craft a unique layout plan. Additionally, the guidance system incorporates items like paint buckets filled with cement, water pipes, polycarbonate wave boards, and gloves to guide visitors through the space. The visual expression extends to the poster, which uses cement bag packaging for screen printing, adding a distinctive touch to the museum's branding.
Art Director Chihong Chuang, Graphic Designer Weichi Pai, and Project Manager Iju Lin were instrumental in bringing this innovative visual identity to life, showcasing the team's dedication to merging art and functionality in a dynamic space.
