The Chinlink International Center in Xi'an, China, integrates business, finance, and leisure, creating a more inclusive scene with a fusion of Chinese and Western elements.
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
The Chinlink Office, designed by Dang Ming and Li Dandi, redefines the modern workspace with its integration of business, finance, and leisure. The project, completed in September 2019, spans from 18F to 25F, covering an area of 42050 square meters in Xi'an, China. The design combines colors and geometric blocks to create diversified functional scenes, satisfying the needs for modernization and inclusivity.
The office area, located from 18F to 20F, features simplistic yet significant and playful designs. Different styles of carpets are used to highlight and distinguish functional areas, providing the possibility of adding more elements. The boardroom area, from 23F to 25F, utilizes geometric blocks to divide the spatial layout and guide the paths, creating a highly textured workspace.
The project faced challenges such as small floor heights, which were overcome by comprehensive pipe arrangements and the use of wall lamps for necessary lighting. The design successfully breaks the traditional image of office space, creating a tension-filled environment that conveys a modern presentation of Chinese and Western style-elements.
