Design Overview

Lively, cheerful, and distinct personal color define the Cornerstone of House, a unique 85 square meter home space designed by Zheng Xi Pang and Yun Ting Wu. The design team utilized curved ceilings, diverse tiles, and colorful walls to create a one-of-a-kind living experience. By strategically using color to distinguish different functions and areas, the team transformed the relatively small indoor space into a vibrant and functional living environment.

One of the main challenges faced during the project was the integration of different materials for the flooring, which was successfully overcome through innovative stitching techniques. The use of marble, stainless steel, iron, tempered glass, wear-resistant floor tiles, and baking varnish contributed to the realization of this exceptional design.

Cornerstone of House was recognized with the prestigious Iron A' Design Award in 2020 for its well-designed, practical, and innovative approach, meeting professional and industrial requirements. This award-winning design is a testament to the creativity and expertise of Zheng Xi Pang and Yun Ting Wu, hailing from Taipei, Taiwan.
