Jooen Lee's Bonyeon is a revolutionary biodegradable material that redefines sustainable living. Unlike traditional biodegradable plastics, Bonyeon can be easily produced with minimal capital and decomposes entirely in natural environments. The material is derived from agricultural and fishery byproducts, offering a new approach to resource utilization.

Consisting of discarded byproducts and microbial binders, Bonyeon closely mimics the color and texture of nature while emitting a natural aroma. Its unique properties promote air quality and regulate humidity, making it suitable for a wide range of living products, lighting, and wall tiles. Bonyeon is not only environmentally friendly but also contributes to the revitalization of rural economies by creating additional income for farming and fishing villages.

The production process involves layering thin layers of adhesives made from proteins and microorganisms, combined with primary industry byproducts such as rice bran, bark, and seaweed.
