Cabulero Mini Monsters: Handmade Amulet Art Toys

Ivan Lopez introduces Cabulero Mini Monsters, a collection of handmade amulet art toys designed to bring luck and charm to their owners. Inspired by the search for love, wealth, and prosperity, these original figures serve as attractive novelties and good fortune charms for any occasion.

Cabulero Mini Monsters are meticulously crafted by hand using modeling paste and acrylic paint, making them environmentally friendly and of high quality. These collectible pieces, with dimensions of 55mm in width, 70mm in depth, and 70mm in height, are made in Ecuador and are limited in stock due to their delicate nature.

The project, which began in Quito, Ecuador in March 2014, was a response to the lack of unique art toys in the local market. Overcoming challenges in material sourcing and market limitations, the first series of 50 pieces was completed by June 2014 and quickly sold out.

Ivan Lopez's Cabulero Mini Monsters received the Bronze A' Design Award in 2021, recognizing the creativity and resourcefulness behind these unique amulet art toys. The award celebrates their contribution to the improvement of quality of life and the world at large.
