FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Alexandru Zingaliuc's Eth House is a concept of a single-family villa that prioritizes site integration and sustainability. The design draws inspiration from the ancient traditional method of building walls from rammed earth, revived as a sustainable building method with minimal environmental impact in modern architecture. The house is planned to be constructed in the Vadul lui Voda village, near Chisinau, Moldova.
The main material around which the concept of the house was developed is rammed earth, chosen for its load-bearing characteristics, aesthetics, and sustainability. The house is designed to fit perfectly into the landscape, complementing the natural surroundings. It features natural materials that harmonize with the environment, creating unity with nature.
With a lot area of 2500 m2 and a building area of 380 m2, Eth House offers three bedrooms, four bathrooms, an open space living room, dining area, kitchen, and an outdoor pool. The house is designed to be divided into two areas that can be accessed separately from the main entrance hall, offering functional flexibility and privacy for the residents.
The concept was awarded Bronze in A' Architecture, Building, and Structure Design Award in 2022, recognizing its outstanding and creatively ingenious design that authenticates experience and resourcefulness, contributing to quality of life improvements.
