Chris Chen Unveils Casa Calma, a Unique Residential House Designed for Harmony and Privacy
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Renowned designer Chris Chen introduces Casa Calma, a tranquil 3-generation family residence nestled in the iconic Huaku Sky Garden in Tianmu, Taipei. The 360-sqm residence boasts a unique layout with two owner-exclusive elevators, offering a private entryway to a double-height terrace that overlooks the majestic Mountain View.
With a nature-inspired design, Casa Calma features a 2.8m tall 180-degree rotating door that divides the interior into distinct living and bedroom areas, providing privacy when needed. The house also incorporates an invisible linear axis with a dominant bronze titanium plating ceiling, emphasizing the primary direction of daily activity flow.
Utilizing high-end smart home technology and Italian Cebos mineral coating, Casa Calma seamlessly integrates modern amenities with a serene interior environment. The residence is designed to cater to the family's diverse needs while maintaining a gentle and calming atmosphere.
Designer Chris Chen, along with TC Kuo, meticulously crafted Casa Calma to provide a harmonious living space for a 3-generation family, including two cats. The project commenced in October 2020 and was completed in October 2021, overcoming challenges posed by the pandemic to deliver a truly exceptional residential experience.
Recognized for its innovative and practical design, Casa Calma was honored with the Iron A' Design Award in 2022, showcasing its commitment to industry best practices and competent technical characteristics that contribute to a better world.
