Tomoo Nitta's Mad Monk bar design is a stunning and innovative project that reflects the designer's creativity and inspiration. The design pays homage to Ji Gong, a Monk of Rinzai sect known for his love of travel and alcohol, and is a testament to the owner's admiration for Ji Gong.

The bar's shelves are a unique feature, supported by Japanese sake bottles, with embedded lighting fixtures that create a captivating ambiance. The timeless atmosphere is further enhanced by the luxury sofa and chandelier, synchronized with the sharp shelves, creating a sense of tension and luxury. The design, completed on November 30, 2019, in Tokyo, Japan, is a testament to the designer's ingenuity and attention to detail.

Tomoo Nitta's Mad Monk bar design was awarded the Iron A' Design Award in 2021, recognizing its well-designed, practical, and innovative nature that meets professional and industrial requirements.
