Maxim Kashin's "Golden Mile" interior space, a three-dimensional installation, draws inspiration from suprematism, offering an immersive experience in Moscow, Russia.
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Renowned designer Maxim Kashin has unveiled "Golden Mile," an interior space that transcends traditional design boundaries. Inspired by suprematism, the installation offers a three-dimensional experience, submerging individuals into a world of endless white space, color, and geometry. Suprematism, based on the superiority of pure geometry and color, is evident in the interior's geometric volume, serving as a background for linear, dominating sculptures.
The 70-square meter space features metallic sculptures constructed from steel, marble, wood, MDF boards, and faux suede, creating a conceptual and emotional experience for the owner and their guests. The project, which began in 2019 and concluded in 2020, is located in Moscow, Russia, and has been recognized with the Bronze A' Design Award for Interior Space, Retail, and Exhibition Design in 2022.
One of the main challenges faced during the project was the installation of a 250 kg metallic construction in the apartment's ceiling. The team overcame this obstacle by meticulously planning and executing the installation, ensuring its secure attachment to the reinforced concrete floor.
