Mikhail Chistiakov's Ant Boy is a groundbreaking robot transporter inspired by the remarkable strength and efficiency of ants. The robot is designed to efficiently move heavy loads in factories and production facilities, offering a ready-made solution for small and medium-sized enterprises. Ant Boy's unique design allows it to work alongside humans, utilizing the same infrastructure without the need for replacements.
Constructed with polycarbonate and an aluminum frame, Ant Boy features two motor wheels with variable ground clearance and auxiliary wheels for stability. Powered by batteries, the robot measures 660mm x 660mm x 375mm and operates autonomously using lidars, cameras, and sensors to navigate and avoid obstacles.
Ant Boy's friendly and approachable appearance, resembling a small animal, is achieved through smooth body surfaces, a light communication system, and strategically placed cameras and lidars.
