Fabiano Dalmácio Creates a Groundbreaking Book Grown Entirely from Grass Roots

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

The Book That Grew: A Unique Approach to Sustainable Farming

Fabiano Dalmácio, in collaboration with AIB and Teagasc, introduces "The Book That Grew," a pioneering sustainable grazing guide for Irish farmers. This book, entirely grown from real grass roots, offers 10 tangible lessons and practical advice to maximize sustainability in farming.

Using a fusion of gardening and meticulous craft, the book's pages, words, and diagrams were shaped by nature itself over several weeks, making it a genuine world first. The book symbolizes the power of natural resources and lays out a practical plan of action for sustainable farming.

The book's unique fold-out page allows for quick reference to a symbol key while reading, and it contains 10 steps to achieve a 'perfect' 10 rotations of grass grazing per year, significantly improving farm sustainability. The project was realized from October 2018 to May 2019 in Dublin and Amsterdam, and was awarded the Silver A' Design Award in 2021.
