Urban Villa Returns to Nature

NATSUKI MORIBA, the design director at ATLAS (China), introduces the Purple Jade Villa, a luxurious residential landscape project located in the central residential area of Beijing. The villa seamlessly integrates modern architectural forms with the natural landscape, creating a model of urban villa returning to nature. The project commenced in 2010 and was completed in 2021, offering a high-end quality life experience amidst the bustling city.

The Purple Jade Villa stands out as an oasis in the city, featuring a combination of natural dream and perfect life. The landscape design reflects the concept of paying attention to internal cultivation and simplifying external forms, defining the outdoor landscape as a realization of the natural return of high-end quality life. The villa boasts a large area of forest coverage, rare species of plants and trees, and a habitat for various wild birds, providing residents with a serene and luxurious living environment.

The design team, including NAKAZATO TATSUYA, Yuxiang Bai, and Xin Lu, overcame the challenge of creating a luxury residence with an excellent reputation in the capital city. The villa's unique properties and strengths lie in its ability to introduce the natural landscape into every detail of community life, offering residents the opportunity to experience the beauty of plant combinations, the fragrance of plants, and the soothing sounds of water and birds.

Ms. MORIBA's innovative and humanized design scheme has garnered widespread acclaim, with the Purple Jade Villa receiving the Bronze A' Design Award in the Landscape Planning and Garden Design category in 2022. The project's creative ingenuity and contribution to quality of life improvements have solidified its position as an outstanding and prestigious design.
