Warm Waves: Redefining Elegance and Practicality

Apollo Deisgn HK Limited proudly presents the Warm Waves project, a luxurious residential design that redefines elegance and practicality. Situated in Hong Kong's Southern District, this project is a stunning show flat-style home designed to bring warmth and complement the majestic, tranquil setting. The design concept was crafted to offer both luxury and homeliness, with a focus on hosting family and friends in the living and dining room, while maintaining clean lines and pared-down simplicity in the private realm.

The main change in the plan involved converting the original Living Room into a Study with a smart glass wall, providing the family with an extra working space flooded with sunshine. The creative use of materials to separate zones in the open-plan Living Room and Kitchen creates a comforting, luxurious environment with the introduction of elegant, bespoke curved wood cladding panels.

Utilizing the Wiser smart home system, the Warm Waves project allows owners to easily control various home functions remotely with the Wiser app, locally with voice control, and with connected switches. The apartment spans 1192 sq.ft and features 1 master suite, 1 multifunction room, 1 guest bathroom, 1 walk-in closet, 1 living and dining room, 1 open kitchen, and 1 balcony.

The design team incorporated custom-made furniture, including a swiveling floor lamp from Flos and a chic Baxter’s Budapest leather sofa, to add sophistication and elegance to the space. The project, which started in August 2021 and finished in December 2021, overcame numerous creative, technical, and research challenges, including fulfilling over 30 feng shui requirements to meet the owners' concerns.

Apollo Deisgn HK Limited, based in Hong Kong, is proud to announce that the Warm Waves project has been awarded the Bronze A' Design Award in the Interior Space, Retail, and Exhibition Design category in 2022. This prestigious award recognizes outstanding and creatively ingenious designs that authenticate experience and resourcefulness, contributing to quality of life improvements.
