Elves: Sustainable Camping Accessory Set
Qing Yan's "Elves" is a camping accessory set that offers sustainable design solutions for conscientious users. At its core is a re-imagined fireplace running on solar energy, providing a new experience with an area to roast marshmallows, all while minimizing CO2 emissions.
The set includes a Sâmore Pit, Dish, Bowl, Drip coffee brewer, and Multifunctional light, all designed with sustainable materials and technology. The embedded lights create a strong ambiance in nature, replacing the tablecloth through decorative light patterns.
Designed with oak wood, steel, and PLA, "Elves" is a testament to Yan's dedication to craftsmanship and sustainability. The project was completed in Fall 2020 in China and was awarded the Silver A' Design Award for Camping Gear and Outdoor Equipment Design in 2021.
