Borromei Loft by Barbara Fassoni

Renowned architect Barbara Fassoni introduces the Borromei Loft, a two-level residential masterpiece that intricately recreates Milan's architectural elements, offering a luxurious escape from the city's frenzy. The design features a series of secret spaces, three bedrooms connected by a central social area, and a modern interpretation of the city's historic center.

Fassoni's innovative approach overcame the challenge of ensuring adequate natural lighting for all spaces by creating new openings and utilizing a large skylight in the living area. The use of natural and painted steel, concrete, and transparent glass showcases the loft's modern yet timeless design.

The Borromei Loft, designed for a single man, boasts a heart centered around a living room with five opening skylights and a fixed glass box, surrounded by a kitchen, fireplace, study area, and music space. The project commenced in October 2018 and was completed in February 2023, with meticulous attention to detail and custom furniture.
