Stylus Studio's Simon Zeng & Vincent Zhang, in collaboration with JadeQA Architects, have brought to life the Joe Lalli Resort Hotel, drawing inspiration from the breathtaking landscape of Moganshan. The hotel's organic form, sustainable construction, and use of local materials such as bamboo and hardwood reflect a deep connection to its surroundings.
The interior design, led by Simon Zeng and Vincent Zhang, reinterprets the region's natural elements, creating a space that promises a tranquil and rejuvenating experience for guests. The hotel's unique features, including a bamboo cloud staircase and modernized Chinese chandeliers, showcase a perfect blend of Asian subtleties and international design standards.
The project, which commenced in November 2016 and concluded in January 2019, is located at NO.17 Yuxin North Street, Moganshan, Huzhou, Zhejiang, China. The hotel, winner of the prestigious A' Design Award in 2021, stands as a testament to Stylus Studio's commitment to excellence and innovation in architectural and interior design.
