World of Art: A Residential Space

Z-Axis Design presents World of Art, a residential space adjacent to the National Taichung Theater, designed to bring harmony between human and nature. The project, completed in January 2020 in Tainan, Taiwan, offers a unique living experience that immerses the family in an artistic ambience comparable to that of the renowned theater.

The residence, covering 177 square meters, features a curved window with a breathtaking view of the theater, showcasing the seamless relationship between human and nature. The design incorporates gorgeous and stylish marble structures, creating a gallery-like charm that immediately captivates the family members upon their return home.

The master bathroom boasts the best view of the National Taichung Theater, while the living room showcases a dual-curved ceiling adorned with recessed lights, enhancing the artistic ambiance. The lack of daylight in the previous master bathroom was addressed by constructing a glass wall, creating a broad and bright visual effect.

The project overcame challenges related to space arrangement and the outdoor environment, resulting in a wide traffic flow that transformed the dining room and kitchen into a wonderful gathering space. The open island counter, serving as a bar, fosters a cozy atmosphere for enjoying food and sharing feelings, making the home a comfortable breathing space in the bustling city life.

Z-Axis Design's World of Art was awarded the Bronze A' Design Award in 2021 for its outstanding and creatively ingenious design, which authentically embodies experience and resourcefulness. The project exemplifies strong technical and creative skills, contributing to quality of life improvements and making the world a better place.
