Chin May Ooi's "Let's Get Better Together" project is a personal illustration series that delves into the theme of love and human connection. Inspired by daily life and the YOLO philosophy, the project aims to encourage authenticity and self-expression. Ooi's illustrations not only explore human relationships but also emphasize the interconnectedness of humanity with nature.

The project, which began in 2018 in Alor Setar, Malaysia, was completed in April 2019 and published on Behance on 31st May 2019. It was featured by Behance on 12nd August 2019, gaining recognition for its compelling storytelling and thought-provoking messages.

Ooi's unique approach to storytelling through illustrations has garnered attention, with the project's emphasis on conveying meaningful messages to the audience. The illustrations serve as a medium to highlight the importance of human connections and the relationship between humanity and nature, echoing Krishnamurti's sentiment that losing touch with nature results in a loss of connection with humanity.

The "Let's Get Better Together" project utilized traditional sketching techniques on a sketchbook, with the final touches and coloring executed using Adobe Photoshop.
