Geissert Thomas Unveils Innovative Wayfinding System at Stadium SC Freiburg

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Geissert Thomas Redefines Stadium Wayfinding with Unique System

Geissert Thomas has unveiled a groundbreaking wayfinding system at the Stadium SC Freiburg, aiming to achieve a harmonious overall concept of architecture and signage. The system, inspired by the color scheme of SC Freiburg's corporate design, features a distinctive Grotesk typeface "Trade Gothic" for optimal legibility and information hierarchy.

The new wayfinding system boasts a unique identity, aligning with the stadium's architectural principles. It guides visitors from outdoor areas to seating, offering a clear and intuitive experience. The system is realized using colored alupanels with colored foil, providing various dimensions based on on-site requirements.

Operating simply and effectively, the system not only guides visitors but also fosters a sense of space and identity. Geissert Thomas initiated the design process in February 2020, with the official opening and first football game taking place in summer 2021.
