FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Soheil Afshar Mohammadian's The Bridge House is a testament to the harmonious coexistence of architecture and nature. Inspired by the linear terraces of local architecture, the design serves as a bridge between the built environment and the surrounding landscape, creating a fluid connection between the two.
Situated on a steep slope facing the valley, the project features interconnected grid bridges that blur the boundaries between the building and nature. This unique layout allows residents to interact with the natural surroundings, offering breathtaking views and a sense of unity with the environment.
Utilizing innovative construction techniques, the project addresses the high humidity of the area by incorporating porous building forms and materials such as goat fibers, hair, and micro-silica. Additionally, the facade boasts operable sliding panels with louvers, providing both light control and privacy while enhancing the overall eco-friendliness of the design.
