Fujimura Desiign Studio Unveils the Unique and Harmonious Turf Rug Lounger

MASUO FUJIMURA, a renowned designer from Tokyo, Japan, has unveiled the innovative Turf Rug Lounger, a new concept in furniture that combines a rug and a lounger to create a harmonious and relaxing space. Inspired by the idea of merging a rug and a lounger, the design was realized in 2013 and has since garnered acclaim, including the prestigious Silver A' Design Award in 2014.

The Turf Rug Lounger is designed to provide the smallest possible private space, offering comfort and relaxation. The round-shaped rug creates a cozy environment, while the artificial grass material allows for versatile use both indoors and outdoors. The design also features large and small dots on the rug, providing convenient spots for a side table and a floor lamp.

With a focus on reducing production costs, the artificial grass rug can be easily changed in color and design, offering flexibility and customization.
