Chinese Festivals Illustration Series by Chunli Zhou

Chunli Zhou's "Chinese Festivals" illustration series is a captivating portrayal of traditional Chinese festivals, drawing inspiration from the rich cultural heritage of China. The series features iconic elements such as "Chang'e," "zongzi," "dragon boat," and "cornelian," each meticulously depicted to convey the festive spirit of these celebrations. Utilizing procreate software, Chunli Zhou has brought these illustrations to life with exquisite detail and precision. Commencing the project in December 2021 at Northeastern University in Shenyang, Liaoning Province, China, Chunli Zhou dedicated herself to meticulously researching and accurately characterizing the elements of traditional Chinese festivals. The resulting series not only pays homage to these time-honored celebrations but also serves as a bridge between tradition and innovation, appealing to a global audience and enriching cultural exchanges.
