Meditation Room Designed by Haibo Liu

Haibo Liu's Yueji Diffuse Space sets itself apart by using pure materials to create a tranquil environment with a primitive appearance. The building's design strategically directs focus towards a picturesque lake, offering multiple sightseeing angles to bring the outdoor scenery inside. A courtyard atop the resting area serves as the center of motion lines, allowing outdoor sunshine to penetrate the space and create a dynamic light and dark system.

The project faced the challenge of accommodating a large number of users while maintaining a quiet environment, which was successfully overcome. Haibo Liu's design philosophy focuses on providing an immersive experience that arouses people's emotions through the use of primitive materials and a deep connection with nature.

Haibo Liu, based in Hefei City, Anhui Province, China, is a designer known for his wide range of interests, including traveling and photography. His design for Yueji Diffuse Space was awarded the Silver A' Design Award in 2024, recognizing its outstanding expertise and innovation in interior space, retail, and exhibition design.
