Verónica Vicente Ruiz's Sustainable Packaging Design for Serra Vegana

Verónica Vicente Ruiz, a graphic designer specializing in the food industry, has unveiled a new packaging design for Serra Vegana, a small company producing cashew ferments and vegan cheeses. The redesign aims to emphasize the brand's vegan values, respect for the environment, and plant-based offerings.

The packaging, made from ecological cardboard and eco inks, reflects the brand's commitment to sustainability. Measuring 100mm x 100mm x 45mm, the packaging is designed to promote the vegan lifestyle by eliminating actions of exploitation or animal suffering and reducing its environmental impact.

Starting in August 2021 and completed in May 2022 in Cantabria, Spain, the project faced the challenge of transforming the brand's image to clearly showcase its values and ethics. The new packaging, based on these brand premises, highlights the use of recycled materials, further underlining the brand's commitment to sustainability.
