Harry Miesbauer Unveils the High Performance Yacht Designed for Safety, Speed, and Elegance
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Renowned designer Harry Miesbauer introduces the 54ft Racer Cruiser, a high performance yacht designed to embody the concept that "Performance is the new Elegance." The yacht, developed for an Italian boat yard, features a full carbon-sandwich construction, carbon mast, composite rigging, and CNC milled high strength steel fin. With powerful hull shapes for stability, the yacht is designed to be light, safe, and fast, suitable for a small crew and series production.
The main focus of the design is to separate the cockpit into a sailing, working area and a relaxing area around the cockpit table. The yacht meets all ISO standards for open sea operation without limits and features dedicated sunbathing areas on the foredeck and coachroof.
Starting the concept design in October 2020, the project is now ready to begin mould making and series production. The 54ft Racer Cruiser has been recognized with the Bronze A' Design Award in the Yacht and Marine Vessels category for its outstanding and creatively ingenious design.
The 54ft Racer Cruiser is a testament to Harry Miesbauer's expertise in high performance sailboat design. With a 25-year career that includes involvement in designs for the Americaâs Cup, the Volvo Ocean Race, and other high-profile race boats, Miesbauer's designs have not only won several awards but have also achieved success on the race course, including the prestigious 2022 Aegean 600 race in Greece.
