Exhibition Hall Showcasing the History of Zhongshan Park in Wuhan

The West Garden Spring Autumn Exhibition Hall, designed by Jiachang CAO, is a captivating exhibition space that tells the development history of Zhongshan Park in Wuhan, China. The design draws inspiration from history books, incorporating various elements such as bamboo slips, painting scrolls, and book volumes to create an engaging and immersive cultural experience. The exhibition is set to open in January 2024, offering visitors a unique glimpse into the rich heritage of the park.

Compared to larger museums and historical exhibition halls, the West Garden Spring Autumn Exhibition Hall may be smaller in size, but it carries numerous stories and memories of Wuhan's citizens. With an area of less than 200 square meters, the exhibition aims to create a relaxing atmosphere, bridging the gap between history and tourists. The design team, including Creative Director Jiachang Cao and other talented individuals, is dedicated to bringing the history of Zhongshan Park to life in a compelling and accessible way.

The project, which commenced in May 2023, showcases the dedication and creativity of the design team, including space designers Yadong Yang, Linchang Zheng, Yuhao Ma, and others who have contributed to the realization of this remarkable exhibition hall. The West Garden Spring Autumn Exhibition Hall promises to offer a one-of-a-kind cultural space that celebrates the rich heritage of Zhongshan Park in Wuhan.
