Zhangjiangcheng Restaurant: Fusion of Hakka Cuisine and Eastern Aesthetics

Guo Tingting's Zhangjiangcheng Restaurant in Shanghai is a light luxury upscale catering brand that specializes in Hakka fusion cuisine. The restaurant's design integrates Eastern aesthetics and showcases ceramic art installations, offering an elegant and comfortable dining space without distractions. The fusion of art and cuisine creates a unique dining experience, with high-end ingredients and custom-designed tableware from Jingdezhen.

The space displays at the restaurant are the result of collaboration between three famous Chinese designers, including experts in ceramics, space art, and visual art. Each private room in the restaurant has a different design sense, creating a unique and visually appealing environment for guests.

The project, set to launch in 2022 and open for business in 2023, presents a tasteful visual and taste feast, integrating art, culture, and cuisine. The biggest challenge in the design process was the extensive integration of art and culture, space and color, and the decoration of food and tableware.
