Urban Sunshine: Redefining Urban Living

Hua Shan Hung's Urban Sunshine project is a testament to innovative residential design, redefining urban living for a young couple in Taipei. The project focuses on creating a bright, open, and intuitive living space that enhances family bonds and daily routines.

The design minimizes partitions and removes the mezzanine, creating a spacious and light-filled environment. The interior is divided into four blocks - the living dining room, kitchen, bedroom, and multifunctional room, with flexible partitions for privacy and an open feel. The terrace entrance is transformed into a semi-outdoor earthy living room, adding a brand-new dimension to urban life.

Utilizing wood veneers and earthy tones, the design creates a warm and inviting atmosphere. The use of translucent partitions and diverse lighting adds depth to the space, while the rearranged layout optimizes spatial utility and enhances the urban view from the kitchen.

Hua Shan Hung's Urban Sunshine project was awarded the Bronze A' Design Award in 2021, recognizing its outstanding and creatively ingenious design that contributes to quality of life improvements.
