Steve Yeung Unveils Maskeeper, a Business Card-Sized Package for Temporary Mask Storage
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Steve Yeung introduces Maskeeper, a business card-sized package designed to temporarily store medical masks, providing a hygienic, handy, and neat solution. The innovative design addresses the need for a convenient and eco-friendly method of storing "take-off" masks during mealtime, minimizing cross-contamination and enhancing user experience.
First in the world to satisfy this unmet need, Maskeeper offers a simple, neat, and hygienic way to fold and store masks, revolutionizing table manners in the new normal.
Developed and launched in just 20 days, Maskeeper is made of food-grade PP sheet with die-cut and folds, ensuring fast manufacturing and low production costs to make it accessible to all.
Maskeeper measures 91 x 61 x 8mm, weighing 10g, and is made of food-grade PP sheet. It has received lab approval with certifications including EU EN71-3 Safety Directives, REACH, and RoHS Compliance.
Maskeeper's smart and intuitive design allows users to fold and store the mask into a card-sized package with ease. The project was initiated on 31-Jan-2020 and launched on 21-Feb-2020 in Hong Kong.
Driven by the mission of Creating Shared Value (CSV), Maskeeper has allied with small businesses through the "Maskeeper Redemption Scheme," supporting local shops and stimulating economic activity during the pandemic.
Overcoming production challenges during the pandemic, Maskeeper was efficiently produced locally using laser cutting machines, ensuring widespread distribution to meet the urgent citizen's needs.
Steve Yeung, the mastermind behind Maskeeper, is a renowned automotive designer and product innovator, with a strong commitment to promoting design education and nurturing young talents in the industrial design field.
