Embroidery Collection: Redefining Craftsmanship in Furniture Industry

Yongphan Sundara-vicharana presents the Embroidery Collection, drawing inspiration from smocking crafts in the fashion industry to revolutionize the traditional upholstery technique. This collection showcases the fusion of fabric and leather, meticulously handcrafted to create bas-reliefs into various patterns, offering one and two-seating furniture.

The project, which commenced in May 2020 and concluded in December 2020 in Thailand, made its debut at the Bangkok Design Week 2021. The collection's unique approach to craftsmanship challenges the norms, infusing new life into the furniture industry.

Yongphan Sundara-vicharana, an industrial designer from Bangkok, Thailand, is known for pushing the boundaries of materials and artisanal techniques. With a keen eye for uncommon designs, the designer aims to create products that add value and evoke unique emotions.
