The Poetic Moon Hangcheng Mansion: A Sales Office Embracing Jiangnan Culture

The Poetic Moon Hangcheng Mansion, designed by The design code CO.LTD, is a sales office that draws inspiration from the elegant, reserved, and delicate atmosphere of the Jiangnan region. The interior design reflects the scenic landscapes and manner of Jiangnan specific to the West Lake, creating a distinctive space appeal.

The interior bounds of the sales office inherit and exhibit the core design concept of the architecture, bringing the West Lake landscapes inside and converting them into the key features of the region. The project covers an area of 428 square meters and is located in Hangzhou.

The folding screen partition, made of silk, a local specialty of the Jiangnan Region, and crafted from a special process, adds to the antique and elegant ambience of the interior environment. The design team includes Hardcover Design Director Zhang Yongyi, Main designer Cong Zhengxuan, Engineering Supervisor Wang Chenglong, and Soft decoration Design Director Lv Li.

The project, which kicked off in December 2022 and wrapped up in April 2023, overcame creative, technical, and research challenges to introduce modern elements into the traditional style, exhibiting the unique charm of the Jiangnan style and catering to the aesthetic needs of the time. The design was awarded Silver in A' Interior Space, Retail, and Exhibition Design Award in 2024.
