Flatiron: A Modern Lamp Collection by MrSmith Studio

MrSmith Studio proudly presents Flatiron, a collection of lamps inspired by the fusion of origami and architectural elements. The name pays homage to the iconic triangular building in Manhattan, reflecting the design's simple yet striking structure. Crafted from a single laser-cut metal sheet with a fold, Flatiron boasts a visually impactful and essential design.

Featuring dimmable LED strips, the lamp stands at 1900mm in height, with dimensions of 350mm in width and 200mm in depth. The development of the project took place over four months in Milan, Italy, where the team meticulously researched and selected the ideal light source to create a warm and ambient glow.

Flatiron's design philosophy is rooted in simplicity, as the team aimed to distill the essence of the lamp to its core elements. The result is a product that exudes prominence while maintaining a minimalist aesthetic. This innovative design has been recognized with the prestigious Golden A' Design Award in the Lighting Products and Fixtures category, solidifying its status as a trendsetting creation that embodies extraordinary excellence.
