FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
REMAC TY introduces Dajing Homestay, a captivating hotel project designed to offer visitors a serene escape in the heart of Dajing Village. The project's guiding philosophy is to create a paradise in the mountains and forests, providing a sense of belonging and inner peace. By seamlessly integrating the buildings with the natural environment, the design aims to evoke exploration and alignment with the surrounding landscape.
All buildings within the homestay face the streams and old trees, enhancing the internal space's allure and connection to nature. Additionally, their orientation towards the provincial highway ensures prominence and accessibility. The architect's vision emphasizes the integration of the new buildings into Dajing Village while maintaining independence and a distinct style.
The project's realization employs common materials such as concrete, wood-like aluminum, glass, and brick, ensuring the buildings blend naturally into the village surroundings. This approach aims to facilitate a seamless integration with the environment, allowing visitors to feel fully immersed without distraction.
As part of the master plan, the design follows the basic village structure while incorporating its unique style through an arrangement reminiscent of an enclosed courtyard. This layout creates a harmonious balance between the new architecture and the traditional village setting.
The project's inception in January 2019 in Shaoguan, China, marked the beginning of a transformative journey aimed at promoting the development of Dajing Village. The design seeks to draw attention to the village's historical significance, including its ancient camphor trees, and contribute to the integrated development of the local community, agricultural activities, and ecology.
Despite the challenges posed by Dajing's historical context and architectural landscape, the design successfully integrates the ancient camphor trees, streams, and courtyards to enrich the architectural narrative. The seamless connection between the lobby, restaurant, book bar, single-family villa, and guest room main building through outdoor corridors creates a cohesive spatial experience reminiscent of ancient villages.
REMAC TY's commitment to innovation and excellence has been recognized with the Iron A' Design Award in the Architecture, Building, and Structure Design category in 2022. This prestigious accolade celebrates the project's practicality, innovation, and adherence to professional and industrial standards, contributing to a better world through its thoughtful design and technical prowess.
