Introducing PURE, the innovative 2-in-1 electric oral care kit designed by Yao Dai, which integrates an electric toothbrush and a water flosser to revolutionize daily oral care.
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Yao Dai's PURE is a groundbreaking 2-in-1 electric oral care kit that combines an electric toothbrush and a water flosser, emphasizing sustainability and long-lasting durability. This innovative design simplifies operation and saves space, catering to a wide range of users.
The toothbrush handle seamlessly switches between toothbrush and water flosser modes by recognizing module replacements. Additionally, a built-in airflow fan prevents moisture contamination of the brush head, ensuring a hygienic user experience.
The manufacturing process incorporates advanced technologies such as plastic injection, metal stamping, and epoxy painting. PURE's materials include silicone rubber, carbon steel, aluminum, magnets, stainless steel, chrome, titanium, ABS plastic, and LEDs.
The 2-in-1 electric oral care kit measures 85mm in width, 140mm in depth, and 315mm in height, offering a compact and efficient solution for personal care. The design's keywords include personal care, toothbrush, multifunctional, water flosser, sterilization, 2 in 1, and bathroom.
Yao Dai, along with Hengbo Zhang and Wenxi Qi, collaborated on the development of PURE, which began in May 2021 and concluded in December 2021, with research spanning the US and China. The design process involved in-depth analysis of oral care statistical reports, market trends, and user expectations, culminating in a product that promotes refined and healthy lifestyles.
PURE's innovative 2-in-1 functionality presented several creative and technical challenges, including optimizing design language for oral care products and developing compact units for personal accessories. However, the result is a user-friendly and space-saving solution that encourages attention to oral health and promotes a healthy lifestyle.
Yao Dai, a junior at the Lu Xun Academy of Fine Arts in Shenyang, China, has been recognized with the prestigious Silver A' Design Award in the A' Beauty, Personal Care, and Cosmetic Products Design category for his exceptional work on PURE.
