Moohan Kim's mesmerizing show garden, "Archipelago," has been selected for the prestigious Suncheon International Garden Fair, set to take place from April to October 2023. The design draws inspiration from the breathtaking coastal landscapes of South Korea's South Sea, incorporating innovative techniques to bring the natural beauty of the coastline to life.

The show garden, meticulously crafted around the theme of coastal scenery, utilizes sand for concept modeling and employs laser scanning for topographical design. This approach allows the installation to express the unique topography of the coast, creating a captivating and immersive experience for visitors.

Utilizing 3D laser scanning technology and precision laser CNC technology, the design team translated the sand-derived artwork into a stunning, irregular form that captures the essence of the coastal landscape. The fusion of art, technology, and nature invites visitors to immerse themselves in the beauty and creativity of landscape architecture, embodying the harmony between nature and human ingenuity.
